Homelessness On The Up In Clare Despite National Drop

Homelessness in Clare is still on the rise, despite a drop in the figures nationally.

While the latest Department of Housing statistics show 300 fewer homeless people in Ireland last month, their same monthly report states there are now 72 homeless adults in Clare – that figure has risen each month so far this year.

There was also a jump of 19 in the number of homeless children in the MidWest, although last month that figure did fall by 50.
