Three new units are to be built in Ennis to accommodate the homeless.
They're included in the government's new Homelessness Implementation Plan with a budget of €29 million.

The units in Clare have been allocated just under €150,000 and will be constructed at Laurel Lodge on the Clare Road.
Respond West – which has 120 properties across Ennis, Shannon and Newmarket on Fergus – is cautiously welcoming the announcement.
