A note found on an Aer Lingus plane this morning claiming a bomb was on board has been declared a hoax by gardai.
However an investigation is underway after the note was discovered in the toilet of the aircraft, inbound from Brussels to Dublin Airport.
The flight landed at 11:30 this morning.
Aer Lingus Flight EI631 from Brussels was given priority to land at DUblin Airport this morning, after flight crew reported that a note had been found in the toilet claiming a bomb was on board.
The aircraft was taken to a dedicated zone while gardai interviewed passengers and searched the plane – nothing suspcious was found and the incident has been declared a hoax.
Aer Lingus says all passengers have now disembarked.
It's one of three security alerts to have taken place at Dublin Aiport overnight.
At about 10pm last night, a Yellow Alert was issued for a bomb threat in one of the terminals.
Separately, there was a partial evacuation of one of the piers at Terminal One this morning when a fire alarm went off.
All incidents have now been resolved.
