Health officials say hygiene and cleanliness reports into the MidWest’s hospitals can be instrumental in making the case for new facilities.

A Health Information and Quality Authority study into Ennis General has found that the county hospital fared well, but an assessment of Nenagh found issues with cleanliness.
A University of Limerick Hospital group spokesman says the newer facilities in Ennis, which had opened only last year, were of great assistance in it’s positive result.
