High Tide Advisory In Place For Clare Following Hurricane Erin

Clare’s Severe Weather Assessment Team are monitoring coastal areas as the remnants of Hurricane Erin look set to make landfall.

A high tide advisory is currently in place and will remain in effect until 12noon on Wednesday.

Met Éireann is warning the strong winds and increased storm surge may result in localised flooding and wave overtopping.

Clare County Council, meanwhile, is advising the public to stay away from exposed harbours, piers and sea walls.
