A high risk fire warning comes into effect for Clare today.
The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine has confirmed the alert will be in place nationwide from 3pm today until 12pm on Monday.

People are being urged not to light fires in or around forests or open lands, not to intervene in fires under any circumstances and to move to a safe fuel-free location such as a car park upwind of the blaze.
Fire and Rescue Services should be contacted via 112 in the event of a fire and all emergency service instructions should be followed.
