High Levels Of Overcrowding Persist At UHL With Nurses Reporting 90 On Trolleys

Extremely high levels of overcrowding are continuing to be reported by nurses at the region’s main hospital today.

The latest INMO report shows there were 90 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 58 of those on trolleys in the Emergency Department.

The overall figure is 15 more than the next busiest facility and comes on a day when there were 644 patients waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
