Helen McEntee will represent Fine Gael in the upcoming Meath East by-election to replace her late father Shane McEntee.

The 26-year-old was elected unopposed at the party’s selection convention in Kells last night.
Shane McEntee, who was a Minister of State in the Department of Agriculture, died in December.
