Clare road users are being warned of potential treacherous conditions today.
Met Éireann has issued a yellow weather warning for Clare, Galway, Mayo and Kerry, with up to 50mm of rainfall expected.

The warning is in place until 6 o’clock this evening and the Road Safety Authority is asking motorists to take their time and allow for extra braking distance.
