Thunderstorms and heavy spells of rain are expected to batter Clare once again this evening.
Met Éireann has issued a low level status yellow rainfall alert for this county, as well as Galway, Limerick and Kerry.

The national forecaster is warning it could lead to localised flooding, lightning damage and difficult travelling conditions.
The alert comes into force at seven o’clock this evening and remains in place until 7am tomorrow.
