Zero Patients On Trolleys At University Hospital Limerick

History has been made at the region’s main hospital today, with zero patients recorded on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick for the first time in five years.

The INMO’s trolleywatch report has revealed that just 12 patients nationwide were being treated on trolleys at hospitals across the country this morning, as COVID-19 continues to impact the numbers in emergency departments.

Mullingar Hospital is the busiest, with four patients admitted on trolleys.
