St Joseph’s Community Hospital in Ennis is set to formally lodge plans for a new building.
The news comes after more than a million euro was set aside in the HSE’s Capital Plan for a new premises on a green field site earlier this week.
A five acre site costing €25 million was acquired back in 2019, with the facility set to have 100 beds available when completed.
