Ruth Morrissey’s solicitor says the Government are contradicting what they have previously said.
His comments follow an appeal to a High Court judgement involving the terminally ill Limerick woman who has cervical cancer.
She and her husband were awarded 2.1 million euro in damages, but the State Claims Agency insists it doesn’t relate to that.
They say the appeal focuses on “a number of important legal points that may have significant implications for the State.”
Cian O’Carroll – Mrs. Morrissey’s solicitor – says the Government are saying one thing, but doing another.
