Optimism At Prospect Of Newmarket-On-Fergus GP

Optimism has been expressed at the prospect of Newmarket-On-Fergus once again having a full time GP service soon.

The village has been without a GP since Dr Colm Hackett retired in May of last year and the community has been vocal in its need to fill the vacancy.

GP services have been supplemented since May by Dr Yvonne Williams in Shannon.
