Health Minister Visiting Region’s Main Hospital Today Amid Trolley Crisis

The CEO of the HSE insists he has ‘strong confidence’ in the management of the UL Hospitals Group.

The number of people waiting for a bed at the region’s main hospital was its third highest since records began yesterday, with 96 people on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick.

Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly is set to visit UHL this morning, having been called on by nurses at the facility to address the issue.
