Just eight people have been left waiting on trolleys in hospitals across the country today.
As the week begins, zero patients are waiting to be admitted at University Hospital Limerick; as was the case on four days last week.
It’s in stark contrast to this day last year, when 617 patients were admitted onto trolleys in emergency departments nationwide.
