A prominent West Clare psychiatrist claims the mental health system is being undermined by junior doctors being paid more than their fully trained colleagues.
Dr John Hillary is a former president of the College of Psychiatrists, which is calling on the Government to address “multiple systemic failings in mental health services” and reform of the system.
The Spanish point based psychiatrist insists trust in the service is being lost and in particular after recent CAMHS events in Kerry.
