Clare Govt Senator Criticises Winter Plan For Lack Of Ambition In Delivering For MidWest

A Clare government senator is criticising the HSE Winter Plan for lacking ambition in delivering for the MidWest.

Announced by Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly, the plan includes six initiatives for the University of Limerick Hospital Group and additional funding of €1.73 million.

Among the iniatives is the provision of four additional beds at Milford Hospice, to facilitate early discharge from the region’s main hospital.
