Call For Clare Donors As ‘Perfect Storm’ Leads To Blood Shortages

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is issuing an urgent call for Clare donors to get in contact after a ‘perfect storm’ has resulted in supply shortages.

Stocks have fallen to just 3 days in recent weeks, down from the 7 day supply which the IBTS tries to maintain at all times.

Clinics are taking place in the West County Hotel in Ennis this Sunday from 11.35am to 3pm and from Monday to Wednesday at 4.45pm to 8pm.
