Availability Of HPV Vaccine To All Women Under 25 “A Fitting Tribute To Laura Brennan”

The availability of the HPV vaccine to all women under 25 free of charge has been described as a fitting tribute to the memory and legacy of the phenomenal work of the late Laura Brennan.

The Health Minister has also asked the HSE to put in place a catch-up programme for children who missed out on the jab during the pandemic.

It follows a campaign by late Ennis woman Laura Brennan, which led to a significant jump in the uptake of the jab and subsequent efforts by her family to have the cost associated with the catch up programme addressed.
