75 Patients On Trolleys At UHL

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is on the rise once again.

The latest INMO figures show 75 patients have been left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 41 of those in the Emergency Department.

the overall figures is two dozen more than the next busiest facility and comes on a day when 551 patients have been left waiting on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
