64 On Trolleys At University Hospital Limerick

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is on the rise once again.

The latest figures from the INMO show 64 patients were left waiting for beds this morning, 25 of those in the emergency department.

The overall figure is a jump of 15 on yesterday’s figure and is almost two dozen more than the next busiest facility, University Hospital Galway, which is the second busiest in the country today.
