53 Teens Treated At Midwest Hospitals For Drug And Alcohol Related Illnesses

53 teenagers were treated at Midwest Hospitals for drug and alcohol-related illnesses last year.

They’re among more than 1,000 children across the country, including 762 aged between 10 and 17, and 264 who were less than nine years old.

According to freedom of information figures, three times as many girls, aged between 10 and 17 years of age, than boys were treated at hospitals within the UL Hospital Group in 2019.
