Ten patients have been left waiting on trolleys at the region’s main hospital today.

The latest trolleywatch report from the INMO reveals that 10 patients were left waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning; just shy of half of the national total.

Nine of those were on trolleys in the emergency department, with one in the wards.

The COVID-19 health pandemic is continuing to impact on hospital admissions, with trolley numbers staying at record low levels.
