It comes as Cystic Fibrosis sufferers are holding a protest at Leinster House, in response to a HSE decision not to fund Orkambi, due to it's exorbitant price.
The HSE claims manufacturer Vertex refused to budge on a figure of 159,000 euro per person to supply the drug here, however, the company insists it engaged meaningfully in the discussions.
CF Sufferer, Robert Cook from Kilrush is attending today's protest in Dublin and he fears that efforts to make the drug freely available in Ireland won't be successful.
