The Health Minister says doctors in Ireland are forced to make decisions based on the law, and not on good medicine.

Leo Varadkar's has also told the Dáil that he feels Ireland's laws on abortion are too harsh and have a chilling effect.
Speaking last night, he said the lives of some Irish women are put at risk by laws forcing them to continue with their pregnancy.
He added that liberal abortion laws also have their risks.
