Health Minister defends Lowry meeting

The Health Minister says his meeting with Michael Lowry last November was ‘absolutely proper’.

It emerged this morning that James Reilly met Deputy Lowry to discuss a nursing home in North Tipperary, along with two other local TDs.

The Environment Minister Phil Hogan has come under pressure for meeting Michael Lowry in March, days after the publication of the Moriarty Tribunal report.
