The head of the ICMSA in Clare, Martin McMahon feels Irish agriculture is in a good position to survive any potential fallout from Britain leaving the EU.
Figures from the Department of Finance show that a hard BREXIT could see up to 40,000 jobs being lost along with a 20 billion rise in the national debt and increases in tariffs.
He says while it poses a challenge, the high standard of Irish produce means trade will continue to be strong.
