The President of the Irish Road Hauliers Association says they've been given a guarantee that motor tax for the sector will be addressed in next year's Budget.

Bunratty's Eoin Gavin has met with Ministers Michael Noonan and Paschal Donohue to discuss the difference between the cost of the tax here and in the UK.
Hauliers had hoped that changes would be announced in last month's budget, and embarked on a blockade of Dublin Port when this didn't occur.
