The Health Minister insists he will meet deadlines outlined in the Sláintecare report.
It’s after Clare’s Independent TD raised concerns that the Department of Health is resisting change by delaying the implementation of the report.

The report, which outlines an ambitious 10-year plan to reform the health system, was published six months ago and Dr Michael Harty, who’s chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Health, is concerned about the pace of change.
Health Minister Simon Harris, however, says he expects to be held to account on it and will continue to work for the betterment of the system
