Clare’s Independent TD is expressing concern that our health service will be in the same situation in 10 years’ time, if a new model of care isn’t rolled out urgently.
Dr Michael Harty’s comments follow Health Minister Simon Harris appearing before the Oireachtas Health Committee this week, which Dr Harty chairs.
Minister Harris was grilled over Cervical Check and the cost overrun in the National Children’s Hospital among other things.
