Clare’s Independent TD says reports of potential increases in health insurance premiums are completely wrong.
It was believed the Oireachtas Future of Healthcare Committee would recommend scrapping a tax relief on health cover which would see premiums for a family rise by around 600 euro a year.
Kilmihil based Deputy, Doctor Michael Harty is part of the Committee, he says fixing the Health Service will mean people won’t need health insurance for core services.
