The Minister in charge of the OPW is to meet with West Clare farmers whose land was devastated by flooding following last year's storms.

Minister Simon Harris will be in Kildysart later, as part of a trip to Clare which will also see him officially open the OPW-run Ennis Friary as well as Scattery Island and Kilkee.
Farmers along the Shannon Estuary were among the victims of flooding following last year's bad-weather, and it's hoped that their case for stronger flood defences will be bolstered when Minister Harris surveys the situation there first-hand later.
