The Health Minister insists that action is being taken to relieve the overcrowding crisis at the region's main hospital.

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded in the country for a third day this week, with 35 people waiting for beds, 19 of those in the emergency department.
Nurses have also expressed fears that the facility will hemorrhage staff if steps aren't taken to improve trolley numbers and staffing levels.
The issue has been raised in the Dail where Deputy Catherine Byrne, speaking on behalf of Minister Simon Harris, acknowledged the situation is not acceptable.
