The armed wing of Hamas has rejected an Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.

In a statement, it has threatened to "intensify" its conflict with Israel.
Cairo had also said it will host Israeli and Palestinian delegations for talks, following a week of cross-border fire.
