An Ennis hairdresser says the industry is ready to get back to work in a fortnight, once they’re given the green light to do so.
This week, the Hairdressing Council of Ireland published a document of recommendations to allow hairdressers to reopen safely.
They include the use of PPE equipment, frequent sanitising, offering an appointment-only service and ensuring customers arrive on their own.

It’s being considered by government, who now look set to give the sector the greenlight to re-open before the end of the month.
