Former solicitor Thomas Byrne has been convicted of a series of offences following the biggest white collar trial ever to come before the Irish courts.

The 47 year old with an address at Mountjoy Square, Dublin has been found guilty on 50 charges of deception, forgery, fraud and the theft of 52 million euro between 2004 and 2007.
The jury returned unanimous verdicts on all 50 counts.
He will be sentenced on the 2nd of December.
