Further Growth In Cliffs Visitor Numbers

Management at the Cliffs of Moher have revealed that it recorded a further increase in visitor numbers last year.

1.605 million people visited the iconic cliffs in 2019, up by 1.58% on the year before.

That’s despite a decline of over 13,000 in the number of group tour visitors – the shortfall was more than made up for by an increase in what are described as ‘Fully Independent Travellers.’

In a further boost, the Cliffs of Moher has also been named as Ireland’s Favourite Visitor Attraction at the Irish Independent Reader Travel Awards.
