It’s been suggested group water schemes are being left in “no man’s land” following water outages in East Clare.
Homes on the Garraunboy Group Water Scheme in Killaloe were without water for six days this week due to the after effects of Storm Darragh.

Supply has since been restored but it’s understood to be the latest in a series of such incidents in the locality.
Killaloe Fianna Fáil Councillor Tony O’Brien says neither Clare County Council nor Uisce Éireann are answerable for the issues and as a result, locals feel “in limbo”.
