The green light has been given for a new childcare facility in South East Clare.
A pre-school and creche will be developed on a site in Castlebank, Ardnacrusha by owner of the land Edmund Irwin.

The new service will provide childcare from 8am to 6pm on weekdays and will employ four people.
It comes amid reports of a childcare shortage in Clare, with some providers having to close their waiting list to new applicants due to the high level of demand.
