Plans to re-open Sixmilebridge mart have been approved by the local farming community.
At a meeting last night farming and community representatives gave full backing for the purchase of the mart at Ballysheen from Golden Vale.
Its after they secured a deal to buy the 4.5 acre site at a cost of 300 thousand euro.
