The green light has been given to the Brothers of Charity to build a new community facility in East Clare.
The new centre will be based at Abbey Street and Marian Place in Killaloe.

The development will involve the demolition of two semi-detatched single storey dwellings, which will now be replaced by the two story community centre.
The amenity will provide offices, a drop-in service, social space and training facilities.
