Cash withdrawals of €420 a week remain in place – but customers will now be able to take out the entire amount at once instead of €60 a day.

An increase in VAT on restaurant food and public transport are also coming into force – after Eurozone leaders agreed to a third bailout in exchange for reforms.

Negotiations are expected to begin in the coming days on the €86 billion bailout deal.
