The leaders of Greece’s two leading parties have cast their votes – as the country goes to the polls today in an election that’s likely to decide whether the country stays in the Euro.

Alexis Tsipras (pro: SIP-RAS) the leader of the anti-bailout Syriza Party says Greeks have ‘overcome fear’ and that Greece was on a path towards ‘hope and a better future’.
Meanwhile, Antonis Samaras the leader of the conservative New Democracy Party – says today marked a new era for his country in Europe.
EU leaders say that rejecting the bailout programme would lead Greece out of the single currency.
