Greater Government Effort Needed To Bring Investment To Clare Says Conway

Clare’s Senator insists that an increased Government effort is needed to ensure that visits by potential investors to the county result in the delivery of jobs.

Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway is commenting in light of new figures, which show there were 17 IDA sponsored visits to the county in the first half of this year, just one less than in all of 2016.

It’s the same number as Limerick, and lower only than Dublin, Galway, Cork and Westmeath.
