Grassroot members of Clare Fine Gael are urging the Transport Minister to ensure a decision on Shannon Airport’s future isn’t put on the long finger
Speaking in the Dáil last week and again in Shannon on Friday, Leo Varadkar stated that a decision wouldn’t now be made by Easter as detailed negotiations with the various stakeholders in the mid west are ongoing.
Minister Varadkar had originally stated that an announcement on which option the government would chose from the Booz report would be made before the upcoming bank holiday.
