Almost 29,000 euro has been granted towards emergency first response initiatives in Clare.
It’s part of a 1.2 million euro announcement by the Minister for Regional Economic Development, Michael Ring under the CLÁR Programme.
The CLÁR programme is a targeted capital investment programme for rural areas which have experienced significant levels of depopulation.

The has been made available to a range of organisations, from small Community First Response groups, to Mountain Rescue and Sub Aqua Rescue teams, with 28,601 euro coming to Clare.
