Clare’s GRA representative claims an “obsession” with collecting data has come back to haunt senior Garda management.

The Garda Representative Association has said it’s members will not be scapegoated for the breath test scandal.

An internal investigation found Gardaí wrongly claimed to have checked an extra 1.5 million drivers over a seven year period.
