The Garda Representative Association is warning that Ireland is on the brink of a policing crisis.
The GRA – which is starting its annual conference in Athlone, Co Westmeath today – says the country’s 165 Garda divisions are all understaffed.
The front-line gardaí say it’s becoming increasingly difficult to provide a first class service – given the ongoing cutbacks.
