Front-line gardaí are calling on the Justice Minister to reverse the decision to close stations around the country.

The Garda Representative Association – which is holding its annual conference in Athlone in Co Westmeath this week – says the move is ill-thought out.
The GRA is warning that the closures will cause irreparable damage – through a reduction in the level of policing.
Delegates at the convention will also debate motions on recruitment, pay cuts, morale and the legal system.
